The Zschimmer & Schwarz Interpolymer division is headquartered in Louisville KY where we produce chemical ingredients including Acrylic Emulsion Polymers for the floor coatings, personal care, and the paints and coatings markets. The Interpolymer site is growing and looking for a Truck driver with tanker endorsement to deliver products to customer sites.

Job Summary:

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for producing Acrylic Emulsion Chemicals using batch reactors. Your primary duty will be to produce scheduled products safely. This includes the staging and loading of raw materials, monitoring the batch, transferring material to storage or package, cleaning of the production equipment, and general housekeeping. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities simultaneously. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: To always work safety and to raise awareness of potential safety concerns. Stage and charge raw materials to production equipment Adjust batch reactor conditions per the chemical procedure. This includes temperature control, flow control, agitator speed controls, and timing. Sample material for quality control Filter and package product for sale in pails, drums, totes, and bulk containers. Record key information on batch records Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities Assist with plant maintenance Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Prior experience as a chemical operator is preferred. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to lift materials such as hoses, pails, 50 lb bags Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to wear a full face respirator while working for short periods of time Climb stairs and ladders.
