Process Technician:

You'll be: Maintaining high product quality and production rates on all process equipment. Troubleshooting and correcting minor electrical, electronic, or mechanical issues affecting process equipment. Assuming responsibility for plant operations and personnel when supervisors are not present. Inspecting rail and truck tank vessels as scheduled; performing loading and unloading operations. Operating process computer systems to efficiently produce different grades of product within specifications. Using blueprints, schematics, and manuals to analyze and resolve equipment malfunctions. Ensuring products are not contaminated during grade changes or handling. Obtaining and testing production samples for quality, logging samples into LIMS, and taking corrective action as needed. Conducting thorough mechanical inspections of railcars and tank trucks, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with documentation. Loading and weighing products for shipment, and retaining samples of loaded products. Operating and maintaining mobile equipment used for moving railcars and performing loading/unloading operations. Keeping work area clean, safe, and orderly; performing daily safety and mechanical inspections; enforcing safety regulations. Reporting accidents, safety violations, and other incidents to immediate supervisor. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have previous experience operating an automated processing plant. Must wear steel or composite toe footwear (required) Possess formal education and/or commensurate experience in a relevant technical field. Are able to work overtime and accept call-ins with or without prior notice. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Are comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for plant operations when needed.
