The ideal candidate will have strong sterile processing experience in Trauma Level I and Level II hospital environments and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute hospital OR setting.

9:00 AM-5:30 PM Requirements Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience Trauma Level I and Level II experience required Previous travel experience required Experience in an acute hospital OR setting CBSPD or
IAHCSMM/HSPA
certification required Strong experience with sterilization, decontamination, tray assembly, and surgical instrument processing Experience processing instruments for ENT, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology Responsibilities Assemble and prepare surgical instrument trays and sets for operating room procedures. Perform decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Prepare, label, wrap, and package instruments according to established sterile processing procedures. Operate and monitor steam sterilizers, washer disinfectors, and other sterile processing equipment. Perform biological and chemical indicator testing and sterilization monitoring. Perform Immediate-Use Steam Sterilization (IUSS) when required and permitted by policy. Process specialty instruments and equipment used for ENT, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedic, Plastic, and Urology procedures. Process scopes and related equipment using appropriate procedures and equipment. Follow manufacturer IFUs, infection prevention standards, and hospital sterile processing policies. Support OR operations by ensuring properly processed instruments and trays are available when needed.
