Towson, MD Pay rate: $30 - $33/hr Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment to ensure they are safe and ready for patient care. Your knowledge of infection prevention, sterile processing standards, and surgical instrumentation will play a critical role in supporting safe and efficient clinical operations. Duties Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols. Prepare surgical instrument trays and supplies for scheduled procedures and ensure all required items are available and properly processed. Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including steam sterilizers, washers, and other sterile processing machinery. Perform biological, chemical, and mechanical monitoring of sterilization processes and maintain accurate documentation. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper condition before assembly and sterilization. Requirements
