Mental Health Worker - Co-Ed Adolescent Mood Disorder Unit

Job Description

36 hours/week, 7pm-7:30am and every other weekend | In Person in Towson, MD The Co-Ed Adolescent Mood Disorder Unit is for the multi-disciplinary assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and stabilization of adolescent female and male patients. What to expect. Under the close supervision of a licensed nurse, you will play an essential role in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on individual behaviors and conditions. To prepare for the responsibilities of this role, you will begin extended clinical orientation and training immediately following your first day of employment through Sheppard Pratt's Clinical Education Department. High school diploma or GED. An advanced degree in a human services field is strongly preferred, either in progress or already obtained. Past direct care or related experience is strongly preferred. For most positions, much be available to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The pay range for this position is $19.36 minimum to $28.70 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
