Roadside Assistance Battery Technician Captain Hook Towing LLC is hiring motivated and customer-focused Roadside Assistance Battery Technicians to join our growing team. This is a service + sales position . The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with customers, performing roadside services, and confidently recommending and selling batteries when a replacement is needed. Earn $1,200+ Per Week Our compensation structure includes hourly pay + commission + performance bonuses , giving motivated technicians the opportunity to earn $1,200+ per week based on performance, sales, and completed service calls. Key Responsibilities Respond to roadside assistance calls and provide professional customer service. Test, diagnose, install, and replace automotive batteries. Sell batteries to customers when testing indicates a replacement is needed. Explain battery condition, replacement options, pricing, and warranty information to customers. Confidently recommend the appropriate battery based on the customer's vehicle. Perform battery installations safely and correctly . Perform vehicle lockout services using appropriate tools and procedures. Perform tire changes and other basic roadside assistance services. Provide jump-starts and basic roadside assistance. Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers. Complete service documentation accurately using company systems. Maintain and organize assigned tools, equipment, batteries, and supplies. Communicate with dispatch and provide accurate updates on service calls. Follow all company safety procedures and service standards. Sales Experience

REQUIRED

Previous sales experience is required. This position is not just about performing roadside services. You must be comfortable talking to customers, identifying their needs, explaining the value of a battery replacement, handling objections, and closing the sale. REQUIRED.

Automotive, battery, roadside assistance, or mechanical experience is preferred. Experience selling automotive products or services is a strong plus. Ability to install automotive batteries correctly and safely. Experience performing vehicle lockouts and tire changes. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Confident and comfortable speaking with customers. Must be able to recommend and sell batteries professionally. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Able to work independently in roadside environments. Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. Able to lift and handle automotive batteries and roadside equipment. Willing to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
