11:00am to 7:30pm Weekends and holidays: 6:00am to 2:30pm weekends and holidays. Position Objective The Sterile Processing Technician performs sterilization, assembly, and storage or medical supplies and equipment. They maintain recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilization of surgical instruments. Essential Responsibilities Perform biological and chemical monitoring in accordance with quality assurance standards Collaborate with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner Perform service-specific responsibilities: including collaboration with Surgical Services Support Manager and Director of Surgical Services to provide services specific to instrumentation, supplies, and equipment Must be willing to take on lead role responsibilities upon successful completion of required training.
