Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols. Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring availability for daily procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance. Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during instrument processing. Inspect instruments for damage or wear, reporting any issues for repair or replacement. Follow all safety guidelines related to handling biohazardous materials and chemicals used in sterilization. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely preparation of sterile supplies for patient procedures. Experience Prior experience in sterile processing or surgical instrument reprocessing is preferred.
