Job Description
Production Operator - 1st
Shift Pay:
Starting at $15.50/hourShift:
1st Shift GTRJOBS is hiring a dependable Production Operator for a specialized manufacturing position. This role works with commercial autoclaves and curing ovens used to manufacture durable rubber seals and components. The Production Operator is responsible for helping control the time, temperature, and pressure required during the curing process. Attention to detail is important because each product must be cured to the correct specifications to meet quality standards. Why You'll Want This Job In addition to your regular hourly pay, this position offers strong bonus and long-term earning opportunities: Weekly quality/scrap-rate bonuses of approximately $40-$140, based on weekly production results Year-end bonus opportunities based on W-2 wages Medical, dental, and vision insurance with low employee premiums 401(k) available after one year of employment Pay review and raise opportunity after successful conversion from the temporary period with GTRJOBS Job Responsibilities Operate or assist with commercial autoclaves and curing ovens Follow detailed build and production specifications Monitor production requirements to ensure products are cured properly Measure materials accurately using a tape measure, ruler, and other measuring tools Use basic hand tools including scissors, metal rollers, hole punches, hammers, tape measures, rulers, and triangles Handle and work with heavy tools and materials Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality standards Inspect work carefully and help minimize scrap Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety and production procedures Requirements Good basic math skills Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure Experience using basic hand tools Ability to read and follow detailed build specifications Strong attention to detail Good hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds or more Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting Manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred Physical & Work Environment Requirements This is a physical manufacturing position.Candidates must be comfortable with:
