Chemical Process Technician 1 - CMP

Job Description

THE POSITION AGCEA
has an excellent opportunity for a Chemical Process Technician in our CMP department on our day shift. Incumbents in this position will operate automated and manual grinding tools and various sandblasting equipment on prescribed materials to remove the remaining excess material and create a smooth surface finish, according to specific procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows manufacturing functional procedures for the CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) production process Performs cleaning of mixing equipment, lines, and manufacturing areas, according to specific procedures Weighs and mixes materials to precise proportions. Operates various mixing equipment, measuring, and monitoring devices including scales, pH meters, load cells, infrared dryers, flow meters, gauges, valves, pumps, mixers, and graduated plasticware Monitors pumps and systems to assure adherence to process and timing Serves on the hazardous spill response team
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a minimum of 6 months - 1 year of related manufacturing experience Requires completed general education (high school or GED), vocational training, and/or on ‐ the ‐ job training Basic understanding of the fundamentals of CMP including basic shop math, formulas, measuring instruments, machine functions, and controls. Ability to use computer programs to operate machine functions and system controls for processing equipment and systems Experience with various measuring equipment; scales, gages, and ability to input data Must be able to perform processes to conformance individually, and within the team setting
