Advanced Chemical Company (ACC) is looking for an Experienced Melting Refinery Technician who embodies our core values — safety, teamwork, enthusiasm, and integrity — while helping us deliver excellence in precious metal refining.
What You'll Do:
Safely set up and operate modern induction and gas-fired melting equipment in accordance with ACC procedures, including startup, material loading, and pouring molten metal into molds or grain Process and melt a variety of precious metal materials such as jewelry, manufacturing scrap, cathodes, and sponge Use fluxes correctly to clean molten metal and remove contaminants Collect accurate metal samples using pin sampling or other approved methods Handle, clean, and finish ingots using pneumatic tools, tongs, and abrasive equipment Perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and operating material-handling equipment, while wearing required PPE in a high-heat environment Accurately enter process data, complete production logs, and generate labels and barcodes Support and cross-train in other production areas as business needs require

Must-Haves:
Ability to lift 50 lb bags and handle 55-gallon drums Solid math and computer skills Clear background check (BCI) Professional, courteous communication with team members and customers Good eyesight (safety is key!)
Bonus Points For:
Experience operating induction or gas-fired melting furnaces in a production or industrial setting Hands-on work with precious metal scrap, ingots, or other high-value materials Familiarity with fluxing techniques and contaminant removal during metal melting Experience taking metal samples (pin sampling or similar methods) for quality control Comfort working in high-heat environments while following strict PPE and safety protocols Experience using pneumatic tools, tongs, or abrasive finishing equipment Prior work entering production data, maintaining process logs, or generating labels/barcodes Strong, consistent work history
