Type:

6-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities Clean pouring boards using appropriate equipment and troughs and set up boards for pouring. Turn on and monitor the wet scrubber system. Load alloy into lazy pans and maintain required records. Load and operate the jaw crusher and bucket conveyor. Weigh and record dross cleaned from furnaces by the pouring crew. Maintain a clean work area and remove nickel/aluminum alloy dust. Assist with training new operators as needed. Clean the mill when required. Properly place hazardous and non-hazardous waste into the appropriate satellite accumulation areas. Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements. Requirements Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Comfortable working in a foundry/manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability and willingness to wear a full helmet PAPR while performing required duties. Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions. Additional job-specific skills will be provided through on-the-job training. High school diploma or equivalent.
