Job Description

As a Phosphate Operator, you will play a crucial role in the pipe preparation process, ensuring that drill pipes are ready for shipping after repairs. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and phosphating connections, applying thread compound, and installing connection protectors. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and safety of our products, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Assist in pipe preparation post-machine repairs, ensuring a smooth transition to shipping. Clean and phosphate connections to meet quality standards. Apply thread compound to drill pipe connections. Install and secure connection protectors, ensuring they are properly fitted. Inspect pipes for any defects or issues, reporting and addressing them promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with the repair team to ensure a seamless workflow. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents. Keep records and documentation of pipe preparation activities. Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet shipping deadlines. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a similar role or in the oil and gas industry is preferred. Knowledge of pipe preparation and maintenance practices is an asset. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently. Strong attention to detail to identify and address potential issues. Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation. Willingness to undergo training for specific tasks and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
