Job Description

Position Title:
Production Operator II Shift:
12-Hr Day Shift - 6:00am-6:00pm or 6pm-6:00am (2-2-3 Schedule; every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday required) Position Overview The Production Operator II report to the Production Manager/Supervisor The job holder has the responsibility to operate the equipment and all of its affiliated processes (overseeing operations of production line, monitor and adjust machine for quality, assist operators), in compliance with legal and company rules. Primary Responsibilities Operating processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures Troubleshoot and able to adjust machine to achieve proper specifications Communicate efficiently with operators and supervision Assist operators with other tasks Carry out all operations in compliance with the expected Quality Standards and Operating procedures of Protec PV and Respecting all legal and company EHS-rules. Responsible for housekeeping in area of responsibility Help train employees Complete and record quality checks Able to operate all production lines efficiently Carry out any other duties requested from the Production Manager/Supervisor Minimum Requirements Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma Knowledge of common software programs (MS office) Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions. Availability to work 12-hour shifts 2-2-3 schedule 1 year experience in an industrial environment Able to be cross trained to operate all production process equipment Physical Environment Required to stand for long periods of time Walk and climb stairs Use hands to remove or lift boxes Stretch and reach with arms extended Stoop and bend Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance Temperature, dust, smell and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions
