Reagent Chemical & Research, LLC. , headquartered in Ringoes, NJ, is the #1 Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) specialty logistics company in North America with 45+ locations across the U.S. and large truck and rail fleets. We are seeking a full-time Chemical Operator to join our growing team in our Jacintoport, TX location. This position is on 1st shift requires 40 hours a week, with possible over time and weekend coverage. The hourly rate range is $28 to $30 based on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Transfers liquid hazardous chemicals from tanks, railcars, trucks or pipeline to other vessels. Inspects tanks, pipes, valves and control systems and submits report indicating condition. Monitors the condition of the terminal yard and equipment to report conditions. Handles equipment and product in such a manner as not to compromise ISO, DOT and other governmental certifications. Accountable for personal safety, the safety of coworkers and promoting a safe work environment; responsible for carrying out all work activities in compliance with federal and state environmental regulations. Promotes an environment in which everyone is treated with respect. Records data readings, utilizes plant data control systems, and observes process conditions on a continual basis to maintain good control of the facility. Places systems in a safe condition for maintenance work, supports maintenance activities and communicates status to the facility supervisor and coworkers. Others duties as assigned.
