Connect Staffing is hiring an Chemical Operator for a chemical manufacturing plant in Sealy, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position — pay rate will be confirmed during the screening process. In this role, you will execute batch making and mixing processes, package finished goods, and perform in-process quality testing in a production environment. Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Execute batch making and chemical mixing processes according to established production schedules and quality guidelines. Perform product changeovers and set up equipment for incoming shifts. Conduct in-process quality tests and document results, process times, and any process variations. Enter SAP order confirmations accurately and in a timely manner. Operate a forklift to support material movement and ensure raw material availability before production runs. Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and training of new or temporary employees. Minimum Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a chemical plant or batch production environment. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for order entry and confirmations. Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions or standard operating procedures. Prior military experience.
