$1,420 Requirements Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing experience required Acute Care Hospital OR experience preferred Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices

Certfications:

CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA

Responsibilities Decontamination & Disinfection Perform cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments and medical equipment Operate washers, sterilizers, and high-level disinfection (HLD) equipment Clean crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps, and related equipment Sterilization & Processing Assemble surgical instrument sets and trays Perform sterilization wrapping procedures using appropriate materials Monitor biological and chemical indicators for sterilization processes Conduct steam sterilization testing and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS) Specialty Equipment Processing Process instruments and equipment for: ENT General Surgery OB/GYN Orthopedics Plastics Urology HC01
