Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories
- Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of the finished product
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Ability to set up and operate CNC milling machines independently
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
- Basic welding skills are a bonus
