Job Description
- 2nd shift schedule is 2pm-10:30pm Mon-Fri
- The CNC Setup and Operator 3-Axis or 5-Axis Mill roles support PAM's growing 2nd shift operations. We are looking for experienced 2nd shift CNC mill setup and operators capable of reading setup sheets, setting up tools, building fixtures, making first articles, checking/logging dimensions & running parts on Haas CNC mills. Our shop is state of the art and climate controlled. Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up mills for operators to run production
- Verify program accuracy, tooling readiness, and part positioning
- Review drawings and ensure setup aligns with program requirements
- Check and adjust axis alignment, tooling offsets, and fixtures
- Collaborate with programmers and operators for smooth transitions between shifts Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with operating Mills (setup experience preferred)
- Must have knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to interpret and verify programs and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of measurement tools, axis calibration, and machine setup
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively across teams
