In this role, you will drive production excellence by setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment, ensuring that every component meets rigorous quality standards and contributes to our high-precision output goals. Responsibilities Execute complete machine setups, including precise tooling, workholding, and offset configurations to maximize production efficiency. Interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings to ensure parts are machined to exact specifications. Perform critical first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Proactively monitor machine performance and troubleshoot dimensional or tooling issues to minimize downtime. Maintain high-quality standards by deburring and verifying finished components against tolerance requirements. Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and uphold a safe, organized shop environment. Qualifications Required Skills Proven hands-on experience operating CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss-style machines. Demonstrated ability to perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments independently. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and geometric tolerances. Experience utilizing precision inspection tools to verify part quality. Preferred Skills Working knowledge of G-code and M-code with the ability to perform basic program edits. Prior experience in high-precision industries such as aerospace or medical device manufacturing. Familiarity with a variety of machine controllers such as Fanuc, Haas, or Okuma. Basic programming capabilities or a strong desire to expand technical machining skills.
