Full Job Description Positions Available:
(2) 2nd Shift | (1) 1st
Shift Summary :
Operation of CNC Mill or CNC Lathe Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operates CNC Mills or CNC Lathes working from blueprints, routings, diagrams and other written or verbal instructions. Changes cutters, picks offsets, and adjusts offsets.
  • Loads and Unloads raw forgings, castings and other forms of raw material for machining and be able to frequently apply up to 30 FT Lbs. of torque using torque wrench overhead.
  • Uses standard measurement tools to check own work and maintain quality level.
  • Uses typical deburring tools to remove burrs and sharp edges of machined product.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervision or Management.
  • Responsible for following company policy and safety guidelines.
  • Responsible for, and given organizational freedom to report quality deficiencies, recommend solutions, and implement approved corrective and preventative actions.

Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six months to two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing related documents such as manufacturing routers and equipment manuals.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Able to carry out instructions, and deal with problems involving concrete variables.
  • Able to use micrometers, calipers, and functional and dial gage tools.
