EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED At least six (6) months of microscope experience Experience in a manufacturing/production environment Basic computer skills Basic math skills Good verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as a visual inspector Experience using tweezer to inspect minuscule parts

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Micrometer and drop gauge usage. Will handle and transport various materials such as alumina oxide/polishing powders, solvents, wax adhesives. Maintain 100% measurement accuracy while performing thickness verification. Visual inspection of parts one by one under a microscope to remove defective parts that do not meet specified criteria. Packing products using microscope, tweezers, and gloves.

Use of microscope for visual inspection up to 80% of shift. Fine hand manipulation up to 50% of shift Lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 lbs. for 50% of shift Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
