Full Job Description Qualifications Required:

• Load and unload parts correctly and safely
• Read and understand simple blueprints
• Check own work and understand basic dimensions, tolerances, and machine safety
• Use basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Recognize obvious good and bad parts visually
• Follow work instructions/travelers and lift up to 35 lbs
• Read and understand blueprints (dimensions, tolerances, holes, threads, surface finish) and basic GD&T symbols
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges, and other common inspection tools
• Identify critical dimensions and recognize dimensional trends before parts go out of tolerance
• Understand tool wear, change tools/inserts, and make basic tool-offset/work-offset adjustments when authorized
• Understand CNC machine functions, controls, travelers, and operation sequences
• Recognize common machining problems and run multiple machines independently when appropriate
• Read and understand complex blueprints and GD&T
• Set up standard CNC jobs, install/indicate workholding (vises, jaws, fixtures), and establish offsets independently
• Load and verify CNC programs, tools, tool numbers, lengths, diameters, and offsets
• Safely prove out programs (Single Block, Feed Override, Rapid Override, Distance-to-Go) and produce First Article parts for QC approval
• Understand speeds, feeds, depth of cut, cutting conditions, and machining sequence/orientation
• Troubleshoot common dimensional, tooling, and surface-finish problems, and make safe minor program edits when authorized
• Set up repeat/similar jobs without supervision, and train/support Level 1 and Level 2 machinists THỢ MÁY
