In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and robotic systems to produce high-quality components efficiently. Your expertise will ensure seamless machine operation, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and robotic systems to produce precision parts according to specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to set up and program machinery accurately. Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly, performing repairs or adjustments to minimize downtime. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for designing parts and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming for machine tool paths. Conduct quality inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet quality standards. Maintain safety protocols by adhering to all safety guidelines, including proper tooling handling and machine guarding procedures. Collaborate with team members on process improvements, including 3D printing projects and tooling modifications. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Familiarity with CAD software, CAM programming, and CNC programming languages. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and 3D printing techniques. Ability to read blueprints accurately and select appropriate tooling for various machining tasks. Understanding of safety protocols related to machine operation, tooling handling, and manufacturing environments.
