Job Summary HiRel Connectors Inc. (HIRELCO) is an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-Spec interconnect products for a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense. We are looking for a CNC Operator with previous experience working in a manufacturing machine shop. The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for loading raw materials, operating CNC machines, and monitoring production to ensure parts meet quality and safety standards. This role focuses on machine operation rather than setup or programming and supports efficient manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) according to established procedures. Load and unload parts and materials safely and efficiently. Monitor machine operations to detect issues, such as tool wear or part defects. Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify part dimensions. Complete production records and inspection documentation as required. Communicate any machine or quality issues to supervisors or setup personnel. Keep work area clean and organized; always follow safety guidelines. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Previous experience operating CNC machinery Basic ability to read blueprints or work instructions. Familiarity with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers). Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
