Check work for conformity, print specifications and quality standards; Perform related job duties as assigned. Must be fully experienced with excellent work habits. Some Programming a plus
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and adjust program/offsets on CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls or CNC Mills with Fanuc Controls or Fadal Controls. Have a solid understanding on engineering specifications, production drawings, production procedures, and verbal instructions. Check work in process for adherence to quality and production standards; Also Insure first articles are done on each job. Continue to inspect parts through production run. Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment operating conditions; insure routine maintenance is done on machinery.
Complete accurate production/work records:
Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining. Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position. Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.
