The position will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of our machining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup :
Set up CNC machines and manual equipment by installing and adjusting cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to job specifications and blueprints.
Programming :
Load and modify CNC programs as necessary to produce parts with the desired dimensions and tolerances. Troubleshoot and debug programs to ensure optimal performance.
Operational Efficiency :
Operate CNC machines and manual equipment to produce parts efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting production targets.
Quality Control :
Perform in-process inspections and measurements using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and ensure compliance with ISO/AS quality standards.
Tooling Maintenance :
Monitor tool wear and performance during machining operations. Replace worn or damaged cutting tools as needed to maintain optimal cutting conditions
Workplace Safety :
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others. Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards associated with machining operations. •
Documentation :
Maintain accurate records of machine setup details, production activities, and quality inspection results. Complete work orders, production reports, and other documentation as required. •
Collaboration :
Coordinate with other team members, including machinists and supervisors, to optimize production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
