Location:
Hartford, WI Pay:
Up to $30.00/hour base rate, depending on experience NESCO Resource is seeking CNC Machine Operators for a well-established manufacturing company in Hartford, WI. Openings are available on first shift, second shift, and a three-day weekend schedule. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines according to bills of materials, work instructions, and production specifications. Available Shifts 1st
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 4:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
Weekend Shift:
Friday-Sunday, 5:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines. Review job specifications to determine setup procedures, dimensions, and machining sequences. Load preprogrammed instructions into CNC machine controls. Monitor machine operation and identify malfunctions or questionable conditions. Inspect completed parts for dimensional and quality requirements. Work toward established production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality. Operate an up-cut saw to cut materials to the required sizes. Mark, organize, and stage materials for machining and assembly. Transport parts using a forklift or other authorized lifting equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices. Perform routine machine cleaning and lubrication. Maintain a safe and organized work area. Qualifications CNC machine operation or related manufacturing experience. Ability to follow bills of materials, work instructions, and basic production specifications. Experience using measurement tools to inspect completed parts. Ability to operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Basic math, reading, and written communication skills. High school diploma or GED preferred. Forklift, overhead-crane, or other lifting-equipment experience preferred. Physical and Work Environment Requirements Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Ability to frequently stand, squat, and kneel. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with high noise levels. Regular exposure to dust and dirt, with occasional exposure to fumes, vapors, or mist.
