As our next CNC Operator, you'll report to the Shop Supervisor and keep production moving by operating CNC lathes and mills to deliver quality parts on schedule. A day in the life You kick off first shift by reviewing blueprints, confirming tolerances, and selecting the right tools. You load a Fanuc‑controlled machine, verify offsets, and run either a 2-3 axis horizontal lathe or a 3-5 axis mill. Throughout the day, you check dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and gages, make minor G‑code edits when needed, and collaborate with teammates to ensure every lot ships on time and to spec. What you'll do Operate CNC horizontal lathes (2-3 axis) and/or CNC milling machines (3, 4, and 5 axis) to produce precision components. Read and interpret blueprints; apply basic GD&T concepts to verify critical features. Use precision measuring instruments and gages to validate dimensions and surface requirements. Leverage basic knowledge of Fanuc controls and familiarity with G‑code to run jobs accurately. Partner with the Shop Supervisor and team to meet quality and delivery targets. Who you are Minimum 2 years of CNC operating experience. Basic blueprint reading; working knowledge of GD&T is desirable. Competent with micrometers, calipers, and other inspection gages. Detail‑driven, accurate, and precise; thrives in a team‑based environment. We'll consider you if you excel in at least one path Ability operate 2 and 3 axis CNC horizontal lathes. Ability operate 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines. Compensation & schedule This is a full‑time, 1st shift position and pays a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
