Job Description

Senior CNC Milling Setup /
Operator Location:
South Windsor, CT Key Responsibilities Execute comprehensive setups and operation of CNC milling machines Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings Adjust programs and enhance machining processes Choose tooling and establish suitable feeds and speeds Conduct initial inspections and ensure parts conform to specifications Supervise production runs and make immediate adjustments as necessary Resolve machining and tooling problems Preserve production efficiency while upholding high-quality results Thoroughly complete all necessary production documentation Maintain a tidy, secure, and well-organized work area Assist in training junior machinists and operators Adhere to all company safety and operational protocols Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 5 years of experience in CNC milling setup and operation Thorough understanding of multi-axis milling procedures Proficient in blueprint interpretation and GD&T Familiarity with precision inspection tools Capable of working independently and managing intricate setups Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Compliance with
ITAR/EAR
regulations Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) Knowledge of lean manufacturing or process enhancement Background in leadership or mentoring
