This position is responsible for producing quality parts, performing inspections, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting production needs. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production requirements.
Perform first-piece inspections and verify parts meet quality standards.
Monitor production processes and stop production when quality requirements are not being met.
Deburr and finish parts as required.
Perform basic CNC programming and make adjustments as needed.
Set up and run parts on CNC equipment according to production requirements.
Troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues.
Perform routine and basic maintenance procedures on CNC machinery.
Learn and perform tasks across various areas of the fabrication department.
Assist other departments and production areas as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
Progress toward operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and programming multiple types of CNC equipment.
Assist with training other employees on CNC machine operation as experience and skill level develop. experience 1-4 years skills Prior CNC operating experience.
