Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include changing raw stock and finished plates on our 4-axis CNC machine, performing routine maintenance, conducting quality checks on finished parts, and ensuring efficient operation of the machines to meet production goals. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications and instructions.

Change plates on CNC machines as required, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output and identify any malfunctions or irregularities.

Conduct routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting key components per production specifications and instructions.

Replace worn tooling and fixturing per instructions.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify tolerances.

Report non-conformances and assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Communicate operational issues, delays, and improvements to supervisors and team members.

Assist in maintaining an inventory of machine tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Requirements:
Technical training or certification in CNC machining or a related field preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or production environment.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Familiarity with CNC machine programming (G-code) is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation principles.

Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Capable of lifting and moving objects up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 pounds].Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
