Job Description
We are looking for a CNC Setup Operator that prepares, programs, and runs Computer Numerical Control machines to create precision parts, handling tooling adjustments, first piece inspections and routine machine monitoring with rigorous part measurement and quality checks.
Duties:
Machine Setup :
Install and align chucks, fixtures, and tooling attachments. Load and verify programs, zero points, and tool offsets.Operation & Monitoring :
Run dry runs and test pieces to confirm accuracy before mass production. Load raw materials and oversee cycle progress.Quality Control :
Measure finished components using precision tools like calipers and micrometers. Conduct first-article inspection to ensure blueprint conformance.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting :
Adjust tool wear offsets and replace worn inserts. Perform daily cleaning, fluid checks, and troubleshooting.Skills :
Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T. Proficient with math and precision measuring equipment. 1-5 years of proven experience setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes.Job Type:
