  • Monday through Friday, no weekends. Most machining jobs make you earn day shift for years. At Swanson Tool Co.

  • the CNC department runs one shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a direct-hire job with Swanson from day one

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Set up mills and lathes: chucks, collets, tooling, stops, and fixtures
  • Load stock, run first-piece checks, and verify parts with measuring tools
  • Watch the cut: catch problems early, adjust offsets and programs, swap worn tooling
  • Keep production and quality logs, and leave clean handoff notes
  • Keep your machines maintained and your area safe
WHO DOES WELL HERE
  • You've run machines
  • CNC, manual, or serious mechanical work
  • and you're careful with measurements
  • You take pride in a part that measures right the first time
  • You show up every day.
  • Basic math and measurement skills; able to follow instructions and basic drawings
