Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive pay: $20.00-$29.00/hour, based on experience Full-time role with advancement opportunities Supportive team, tuition reimbursement, and a modern, climate-controlled shop Medical and dental coverage, company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with match Paid vacation and sick time Is This You? 1-3 years operating CNC machines hands-on High school diploma or equivalent (machining coursework/certification preferred) Comfortable reading complex blueprints and schematics Fluent with calipers, micrometers, and gauges Detail-obsessed, safety-conscious, and skilled at problem solving What Will You Work On? Program, set up, and operate CNC mills/lathes to hit spec and schedule. Load composite raw material, confirm tooling, and verify offsets. Monitor runs, adjust parameters, and perform routine maintenance. Inspect parts with precision instruments and record data for traceability. Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on new product introductions . Apply FOD control practices required for aerospace work. Continuously reduce cycle times, extend tool life, and minimize waste. Safety & Environment Our Northbrook facility (3411 Woodhead Dr, 60062) is climate-controlled and equipped with state-of-the-art CNC systems. You'll stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work around shop noise and composite dust—PPE provided. Some flexibility for shift coverage may be needed.
