Openings for Operators on 2nd shift. Openings for Setup Technicians on 1st and 2nd shift. The CNC Setup Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual machinery (Lathes) to support efficient production. This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing setups and programs, and continuously improving machine processes to ensure quality and productivity.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery (Mazak
OR FANUC
program experience) and make advanced adjustments to ensure precise production.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and setup procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex CNC machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Perform part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
  • Train and assist CNC operators/tenders with setups, troubleshooting, and adherence to quality and production processes.
  • Document production data, setups, inspections, and machine performance in ERP systems and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience on Lathes, including operating single-axis/multi-axis and single-turret/multi-turret machines such as Mazak, Doosan, INDEX, and Nakamura.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part schematics.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Capability to use all required hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and impact tools.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and complete production/quality paperwork accurately.
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various Roll Thread & Grinding equipment. This role focuses on gaining proficiency in operating these machines, with the flexibility to operate additional equipment as needed to support evolving business demands. The primary focus is on operating assigned machinery, following established procedures, and ensuring product quality. This role reports directly to the Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and operate grinding and roll threading equipment following established procedures
  • Load materials and run machines to produce parts that meet required specifications
  • Inspect parts throughout production using tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Document production activity, quality checks, and machine performance in the system
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and support maintenance as needed
REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • 1+ year of experience working with machining or metalworking processes such as grinding or threading
  • 1+ year of experience using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, or gauges
  • Basic computer skills with 1+ year of experience entering production or quality data
PREFERRED
  • Experience operating roll threading or grinding equipment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for production tracking
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or 5S practices #CP101
Pay:
$20.00
