CNC Laser Machine Operator

Job description Laser Center is a laser cutting company with production facilities in both Schaumburg, IL and Menomonee Falls, WI. We are looking to hire CNC laser operators at the facility in Schaumburg, IL. This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of one or more CNC laser machines. He/she will also assist other CNC operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging. Responsibilities Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate parts based on engineering specifications. Load and unload raw materials at each work-center for production. Maintain daily clean-up and associated log-book in assigned area . Utilize hand tools and machinery as needed. Assist in loading and unloading team members' machines when production requires additional manpower. Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Experience of operating CNC laser machines is not required but preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. High school diploma preferred Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
