CNC / Edge Bander Operator Thor Motor Coach has an opening in our CNC department in Elkhart. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a CNC and Edge Banding Machine. The ideal candidate will have experience with OSI Controllers and onsrud, but will train the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently operate CNC machine to satisfy production demands for several production plants Accurately follow production run sheets Load programs into the machines and direct the flow of incoming and outgoing material correctly for each plant Ensure quality and quantity of parts being cut Monitor quality, condition, and quantity of tooling Periodically inspect and perform preventative maintenance of machines and report any issues to management Accurately fill out and maintain all required paperwork Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping

Requirements:

Lift and load 4'x8' sheets of material onto the CNC tables manually or with a vacuum assisted lift Communicate effectively with receivers Must be able to read a tape measure CNC experience preferred, but not required Pre-employment drug screen required.
