Job Description

•Position Overview CNC Operator is responsible for machine controls, safe operation of machines, and maintenance of machines. They are also responsible for training new employees as needed. Essential Job Functions Able to operate machinery in a safe manner Able to learn new machines and safety procedures as necessary Able to train others Knowledge of air and hand tools Must be able to read blue prints Must be able to read and use a tape measure efficiently Possess above average skills in mathematics with ability to use a protractor Possess basic computer skills Must be able to drive a forklift Non-essential Job Functions Must be a great problem solver Communicate well with others Willingness to learn new machines Organize work area Keep employees motivated Pay Rates starting between $18-21/hr depending on experience Requirements Work inside without air conditioning Able to stand and walk around all day Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and bending occasionally Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material Other Skills/Abilities Ability to be cross trained PPE Requirements Safety glasses Gloves
