Do you have a strong and diverse mechanical aptitude and are motivated to learn new skills? We have immediate openings for individuals to operate our CNC turret punch, CNC press brake and water jet machines. We're looking for candidates with previous experience who can step in and make an immediate impact. Additionally, training is available for candidates familiar with a manufacturing environment and the ability to master new skills quickly. Compensation will be based on your experience level. Semcor Manufacturing is a sheet metal, welding and fabrication company primarily engaged in the design and production of specialty power generation, electrical distribution and lighting equipment used in the entertainment industry. Summary/Objective:
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating turret punches, waterjets, and press brakes to produce precision components in accordance with company specifications. This role demands strong attention to detail, proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, and the ability to ensure product quality through proper machine operation. The CNC Machine Operator will work closely with the production team to maintain a smooth workflow and assist with troubleshooting machine or production issues. Compensation will range from $27.25/hr to $31.15/hr based on demonstrable capability and experience. Essential Functions Set up and operate CNC turret punches, waterjets, and press brakes according to job specifications. Understand entire manufacturing processes, standard procedures, and policies. Read and interpret work orders, setup sheets, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for accurate production. Monitor machine operations and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications. Adjust machine settings, as necessary, to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Understanding of sheet metal fabrication. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation along with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Document machine production output and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes and resolve manufacturing challenges. Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues encountered. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to adjust and maintain CNC equipment for optimal performance. Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience operating CNC machinery, particularly turret punches, waterjets, or press brakes (Preferred)
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience (Preferred)
