In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision metal and plastic components and parts. Your expertise in machine setup, programming, and quality inspection will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Apply Today! Shift and Compensation 1st and 2nd Shift Compensation is from 31,200 USD to 83,200 USD per year Job Duties Set up CNC machining equipment, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring proper calibration and tooling installation. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and machining requirements. Operate machines by loading and unloading parts, adjusting settings and monitoring processes. Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustments, and routine maintenance to optimize performance. Verify finished work-piece conformance to specifications using measurement tools. Maintain accurate documentation of setup procedures, production logs, and inspection reports. Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the machining process. Background Profile Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines; familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of machining tools, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and quality control procedures. Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise part fabrication. #Plymouth
