CNC operators Job Description We are seeking skilled 5 CNC Machinists/Operators to join our team on the 2nd or 3rd shifts. You will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety Responsibilities + Set up and operate 5 and 3 axis machines, cutters, and tools to produce precision parts. + Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers or calipers. + Machine parts to specifications and ensure product conformance. + Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines. + Measure, examine, or test completed parts to check for defects. + Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. + Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition. + Study sample parts, blueprints, or drawings to determine product conformance. + Diagnose machine tool malfunctions and recommend adjustments or repairs. + Fit and assemble fixtures and cutters for customer products. + Dispose of scrap or waste material according to company policies. + Evaluate machining procedures and suggest improvements for efficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 1-2 years of experience running 3, 4, and 5 axis machines preferred. + Experience with Mazak, Haas, and Fanuc controls is beneficial. + Familiarity with Verisurf Inspection Software and CNC programming. Work Environment Work in a state-of-the-art machine shop environment, focused on aerospace, space exploration, and military projects. Our 2nd shift operates Monday through Thursday from 4:15pm to 2:45am, and our 3rd shift runs Friday through Sunday from 4am to 4:30pm.
