In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining precision CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in Swiss-style CNC machines, along with your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail, will ensure our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing excellence and precision engineering to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate Star Swiss CNC machines, while ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters based on job specifications, ensuring precise calibration using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Conduct dimensional measurements and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) checks to verify component accuracy and quality standards Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly, performing basic repairs or adjustments to minimize downtime Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and using hand tools appropriately Utilize tool life monitoring features in machine control and setup redundant tooling. Facilitate machine operator training across multiple shifts. Qualifications Proven experience operating Swiss CNC machines, 3+ years. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar control systems; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks for part design review and planning Mechanical aptitude with understanding of shop math, tooling setup, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and industrial equipment troubleshooting Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and understanding GD&T principles for quality assurance Experience with factory safety standards in production environments; ability to follow strict safety protocols at all times Basic math skills necessary for machining calculations; ability to read technical specifications confidently Join our team if you're ready to bring your expertise in Swiss CNC machining to a vibrant manufacturing environment where precision meets innovation!
