Job Summary Carbon Composites, Inc., a growing company in the world of high temperature graphite furnace insulation and Carbon/Carbon composites is looking for two Production Technicians at our location in Leominster, MA. In this role, you'll be an essential part of the production process, preparing and cutting materials for coworkers by operating computer controlled cutting machines. You will also make various carbon composites products. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your manufacturing expertise while being part of a dedicated team committed to excellence. Duties Operate CNC cutting machines and prepare raw materials according to the production plan. Keep workstations and material storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled. Ensure smooth machine operation and promptly report issues to supervisors and maintenance engineer Make products, including CC plates, FlexShield and molds (U-channels, L-angles, L-rings, etc.). Assist coworkers with material preparation to keep operations running seamlessly. Help disassemble CC plate tables and impregnation plate tables as needed. Manufacture high-quality products with minimal material waste in accordance with SOPs. Accurately track and record daily production output. Comply with all plant safety guidelines for handling and disposing of materials. Follow 5S principles to ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas remain safe, clean, and organized. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting. High school or equivalent (minimum), technical school/college preferred Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced Forklift truck experiences
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
