Swiss and Milling Job Description:
Our client in Plymouth, MA is seeking (3) CNC Machinists for an immediate opening on their 2nd shift team. This is a great opportunity for both newly skilled and experienced machining professionals looking to grow their careers in a dynamic and expanding manufacturing environment.

Operator Qualifications:
Basic machining knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude. Must be able to read technical documentation such as blueprints and perform basic math. Proper use of micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Level 2

Proper use of micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Basic CNC troubleshooting skills in addition to machining principles. Ability to perform minor set-ups. Example; Perform a setup on a 3 axis milling machine, or move a current setup to a different machine. Level 3
Operator Qualifications:
Basic machining knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude. Must be able to read technical documentation such as blueprints and perform basic math. Proper use of micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Basic CNC troubleshooting skills in addition to machining principles. Ability to perform minor set-ups. Example; Perform a setup on a 3 axis milling machine, or move a current setup to a different machine. Train lower level machinists and assist them when technical problems arise . Possess strong leadership skills and work closely with management to identify problems with material, scheduling, routers, and other various production activities. Strong CNC troubleshooting skills in addition to basic machining principles. Have the experience to quickly rectify a problem on a CNC machine. Ability to perform new product set-ups from start to finish with minimal support from the programmer and engineer. Must be able to provide solid feedback to the programmer through the prove-out process including ideas for improvement and ways to make the process faster and more efficient. Possess the technical competency to read and interpret advanced technical documentation.
