CNC Operator (Afternoons) Intex - 3.6 Livonia, MI Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Inspection gauge Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Blueprint specification interpretation Monitoring dimensions Shop math Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Mechanical quality control procedures Full Job Description CNC Operator (Training on day shift 6am-2pm) Working shift after trianing: 2pm-10pm Operate Fadal CNC machining centers with Fanuc controls. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets. Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Monitor machine operations and make approved tool wear offset adjustments as required. Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Maintain production records and report machine or quality issues to supervision. Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance activities. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles. This job may require the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and ling periods of sitting with extensive computer usage. Periodic lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to waist high platform may also be required. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous CNC machining experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Basic understanding of Fanuc controls and CNC machining operations. Experience using precision measuring equipment.
