Brief Description Desired candidate can keep coiling equipment running at standard speed rates with minimal adjustment. Training plan will include learning and full understanding of the machine operation (CNC and/or Mechanical) including all its tooling. Candidates will receive basic training in blueprint reading, symbology and instructional guides to successfully operate one or more ring coilers using a variety of steel. M-F Full Time 7:00am-3:30pm
Skills:
Versatile in various wire sizes Analytical and Mechanical Aptitude Knowledge of raw materials and the production processes Understanding of Stress Relieving process Understanding of Spring Design is a plus Ability to use inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, & gages Ability to use forklift
Key Accountabilities:
Adjust machine(s) & related equipment during production Inspect parts during production Stop production when a quality defect is found and notify Direct Supervisor / QC Load wire in machines using forklift Implement tooling where necessary Identify and tag finished product Complete required paperwork associated with operator's responsibilities
Experience:
High School or equivalent (preferred) Metal Forming (preferred) Machine Shop (one year) Reading and Interpreting Drawings and Blueprints (one year)
Physical:
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Ability to stand for most of Shift Ability to lift, bend and twist as needed Does not mind working in a factory setting that can sometimes be loud.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
