CNC/MANUAL LATHE & MILL MACHINIST

The CNC/Manual Lathe Machinist will run a variety of machines, will help to enhance productivity, will perform quality checks, and monitor machine output. Job responsibilities/

Essential Duties:

Basic setup and operation of CNC lathe and CNC mill. Basic knowledge of CNC conversational programming and set up is preferred. (but can be trained) As machinist you will be expected to run multiple CNC machines Basic knowledge of turning and machining speeds and tooling. Applicants should know how to read and use micrometers, calipers, and indicators. Personal tools required (micrometers, calipers, indicators). Display aptitude, attitude, and willingness to learn, and take on responsibilities for personal growth.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills & Abilities:

High School Diploma or GED. Manual machine experience preferred. Minimum 2 -5 years of experience with experience with both manual lathe and manual mill, Ability to read blueprints, use precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers and indicators. Ability to perform close tolerance inspection of parts and perform set-ups. High mechanical aptitude Good verbal and written communication skills. Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test

Job Type/Schedule:

This is 1st SHIFT position; M-F Day Shift. Must be able to work Saturdays as required. Pay is based on experience.
