In this role, you will operate and set up 3-axis Mills (HAAS and FADAL) to produce precision components (aluminum, steel and plastic) according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Your expertise in machining tools, programming, and measurement will be essential in ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes.
•Willing to train on Mastercam
•Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including HAAS and FADAL 3-Axis Mills, ensuring proper machine calibration and tooling Interpret prints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise components Program CNC machines using Mastercam software. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other measurement instruments for quality control Perform machine maintenance, tool changes, and adjustments to optimize machining accuracy and efficiency Inspect finished parts for quality assurance using measurement tools and ensure compliance with specifications Collaborate with team members on machine setup, tooling selection, and process improvements to enhance productivity Skills Proficiency in CNC G-code programming and M-code for precise machine control Skilled in Mastercam programming to generate tool paths for CNC machining Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine setup adjustments Knowledge of measurement techniques used in quality control to ensure parts meet strict tolerances Ability to set up machines efficiently while maintaining safety standards in a manufacturing environment
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 45.0 per week
