Activar Industrial Products Group (AIPG) manufactures and distributes thousands of products. We are currently hiring CNC Coiling Operators for our Forest Lake, MN location.Activar Industrial Products Group :
Springs Inc. specializes in round wire compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs and wire forms for a variety of applications and industries. Bending Technologies metal fabrication specializing in precision tube forming, bending and rolling. In addition, our expansive workshop allows for complimentary fabrication methods such as welding, finishing, drilling, laser, tapping, and sheet metal applications.Hours:
Mon-Thurs. 6am- 4:30pm or Tues
- Fri. 6 am
- 4:30 pm Weekly opportunities often available to pick up additional overtime hours!
Pay:
Up to $28/hr. DOE, paid weekly!POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for all coiling set-ups and operations.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Meets daily production and quality goals.
- Willing to understand spring design and production applications.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.
- Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company standards and policies.
- Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient on all CNC and mechanical coilers
- Ability to operate machines including, but not limited to bar code reader, computer terminal, other electronic devices, and forklift.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and the capacity to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and effective organizational skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
- Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork.
- Willing to learn an understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position.
- Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.
- Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.
- Knowledge of quality system and ISO procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
- Continuous work experience
